The book I am reading is Matched by Ally Condie, this is a story about a girl named Cassia and about her life in this Society that she grew up in. The Society decides everything for her, who to love, what to eat, what to wear, and many more. Then, something goes wrong when she's being matched to the person she's going to marry. Xander pops up on the screen, as expected, and then out of the blue this guy named Ky, his fame goes on instead of Xander's. As the story goes on, she starts to wonder of Ky's face was an accident or a sign.
When Cassia has a choice to pick Xander or Ky, it would be betrayal to other person if she picked the other. This part of the book is similar to a scene in The Land of Stories A Grimm Warning by
Chris Colfer because Rook has to choose between helping his father and the other villagers or harming Alex's emotional state, it would defiantly be betrayal to the other. Cassia is like Alex because they both love someone and care deeply about them. The only difference would be that Cassia loves both Xander and Ky, so it's double the challenge.
In conclusion, I can't believe how the society sees every single thing that Cassia does especially when the official saw her not taking the red tablet when she was suppose to. I was surprised that the Society didn't see her practicing cursive with Ky when they went hiking. I always wondered why the people completely wiped out writing. Cassia didn't even know how to write before Ky taught her how with the stick in the woods.
