Dont Tell Anyone- Text to Text

The story I have been reading is called Don't Tell Anyone by, Peg Kehret. This book is about a girl named Megan that loves animals and she is trying to save these feral cats in a open field by her house. Megan also witnesses a hit and run car accident were the driver, Lacey drives away in the accident so all that she has been working for is down the drain. Soon after, Megan finds out a company is building a apartment building where the cats live and stops the construction. This criminal named, Shane tries to make Megan trust him and ends up kidnapping her. What will happen to Megan and her cats?

The scene where Megan takes care of this ladies dog ( the one that got in the car accident) reminds me of the book called Escaping the Giant Wave by Peg Kehret because in that book they take this couples dog because they have to get higher up the mountain before the tsunami comes. The scene where Megan is upset about her cats almost dying reminds me of a book called Runaway Twin where she is sad about losing her sister named Starr. Another connection is where in Runaway Twin she found a stray dog and took him with her on her journey to find her sister and in Don't Tell Anyone she treats the feral cats like her own. Those are a few text to text connections i can make with this book.

I love the way this author loves animals and puts animals into her stories which I love. I hope you would want to read her books too.
